my SQ stewardess sister gave the low down of why the Indians
swear by SQ at the dinner table just yesterday ....
simply cos any other airlines, especially indian carriers, couldn't
be bothered with the patterns of indian passengers ....
she says there are only two type of flights where all the meals,
alcohols, free gifts, everything, down to the magazines,
newspapers, the bottles of deodorant and combs in the toilets,
would be emptied .... China flights and Indian flights ...
as long as it's free, they'd want it ... and both are equally
quarrelsome and unreasonably demanding .... they'd raise their
voices a the drop of a hat hoping to demand more from you
....
indian destination flights also have the highest incidence of
molest cases ... 
my sis says that airlines like air india are staffed by their local
girls, who are of course, wise to all the ways and patterns already
... so they get shitty service if they take air india .... it's SQ
all the way ...
